Elder Care Support Program

The Elder Care Support Program helps clients find the right care in a way that is clear, respectful and connected to culture. We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over to access the aged care services that best meet their needs. Our team can assist with understanding what services are available, filling out forms and applying for support while ensuring that care is culturally safe and feels right. We also provide guidance for families and carers, recognising the important role they play. Elders are welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer along to appointments for additional support.

Tackling Indigenous Smoking and Vaping

Smoking is the leading preventable cause of death for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Quitting is tough, but combining behavioral support with medication gives the best chance to succeed.

The rise in e-cigarette use among teens is worrying with risks of addiction, heart and lung issues and a possible gateway to smoking. We are here to help you quit smoking or vaping through our Tackling Indigenous Smoking Program.
